This year of scant rain may have our smoky hearts concerned for the dry months ahead, yet 2021 is simultaneously rich with blossoms. The myriad roses are truly exceptional this season. From old fashioned climbers like the fragrant, pink Cecile Brunner or the thornless, golden profusion of Lady Banks, to the generous Floribundas and classy Hybrid Teas, this May and June is a time to “stop and smell the roses” if there ever was one. Please remember to pause, and drink up the beauty of now with the delight it is meant to inspire.
