PETALUMA, CA — A heat advisory has been issued for Memorial Day for much of the Bay Area and the North Bay, including Petaluma.
The advisory is in effect from noon until 9 p.m. on Memorial Day, when hot temperatures are expected to range from the low 90s to the low 100s in the interior North Bay and East Bay.
“Sea breeze will keep temperatures along the coast and bay in the 80s and low 90s,” the National Weather Service San Francisco said. “Overnight lows will be in the 60s and 70s in the hills, so expect little relief. These will be some of our hottest temperatures of the year thus far.”
