A Santa Rosa pest control specialist recently encountered a career first: 700 pounds of acorns hidden in the walls of an area home.
The culprit? A woodpecker that’s nuts for nuts.
The owners of the home contacted Nick’s Extreme Pest Control when they saw worms coming out of the wall. The creatures looked like maggots, but were in fact meal worms, according to the business.
