Overall the room was fine, clean, and nicely decorated. It will likely need a renovation in a few years (and some of the halls need it now). The staff were fine overall (although a couple of the younger staff seemed burned out or disengaged, but nothing bad exactly). The location is OK, but it was a bit loud at night (various parties, it sounded like, maybe until 11 or midnight) The main issue is the cost of hotel is not worth it by any stretch. If you can get a room for say

I love this place! The staff is always friendly, and the food and drinks are consistently great. It’s the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, whether you're looking to relax or have a fun time with friends. Highly recommend!

We stayed here in late May with our son & his family. Great place for family fun. Loved the pool, but forget abt getting a lounger after 7:30. Lots of kids of all ages. The Jacuzzi is on the small side. Next time, we're going to try to book a ground floor room off the pool. There's grass between the room and the pool. You can sit there if you miss getting a lounger. Drinks from the bar were pricey but the restaurant wasn't bad. Delicious food. Bare concrete floor in our room. The decor was 1950's. We'll done.

Update: Spoke with manager in the morning just to inform him about how horrible the noise was and he apologized profusely and offered a refund without me asking for one. I thought that was very good customer service. Still leaving advice for people that want a quiet evening to ask for a room far away from the pool, on the top floor, and away from any stairs. It’s currently past midnight and I’m sitting in my “suite” I paid $750 for to treat my 70 year old mom who is getting married next weekend. The walls are so thin I can hear every conversation and footstep outside in the hallway and in the room above us word for word. The “club” is playing music so loud I feel like it’s right outside our bedroom, which it basically is based on where they put us. Do not pay for a suite (or any room for that matter) here unless you are staying out until 3am partying/getting wasted here at the hotel. That’s the only way anyone would be able to sleep here, drunk and after 3am (or if at all?!). All families, older people, and ANYONE wanting to have a relaxing evening BEWARE. I am horrified and truly furious I believed this was a nice luxury hotel (why else would a suite be $750?!) and I’ve wasted my money on what we wanted to be a relaxing day/evening to celebrate someone I love dearly. Beyond disappointed.

Pretty disappointed that a place that touts its pool as award winning repeatedly ran out of pool towels during our stay here on both days. On our second day, my partner checked every 10 mins for towels and during his fourth check, was told that the towels that had come were already distributed and we would now have to wait a whole wash cycle for any new towels. Thankfully the manager was able to find a pool towel for each of our kids, but an hour and a half later when we were done swimming the adults had to rush back to our rooms, still without towels. When you look around a lot of patrons were using their own beach towels. This points to a continuing and systemic issue that has never been fully addressed by leadership. The pool is also quite cold, which may be ok for a tropical place but not in Sonoma county. It is also pretty crowded at the pool, which may be ok for patrons who go for the day pass, but it makes it not worth it to invest in actually staying at the hotel.
