Santa Rosa Junior College will stay remote through the spring

The vast majority of classes and student services at Santa Rosa Junior College will remain remote-only for the rest of the school year, the school announced Thursday.

“It was very gut-wrenching to make that decision because … everybody wants to come back,” said Frank Chong, SRJC president. “But I have to make the decision based on science and safety.”

In April, Chong announced the fall semester would be all remote, with a few key exceptions for courses that would include some in-person instruction with proper precautions in place.
