Gas prices in the U.S. keep climbing, as oil prices recently reached rates not seen in seven years. In California, drivers are looking at prices around $4.51 per gallon on average, well over the national average of $3.34, according to the American Automobile Association. WHERE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE GAS IN THE STATE? San Rafael, Santa Rosa and San Francisco are all seeing average gas prices around $4.71 today, according to AAA. Sacramento’s average price of around $4.53 makes it the 11th most expensive in the state.
