California gas prices: See how Sacramento is faring compared to other cities

Gas prices in the U.S. keep climbing, as oil prices recently reached rates not seen in seven years. In California, drivers are looking at prices around $4.51 per gallon on average, well over the national average of $3.34, according to the American Automobile Association. Here’s what you need to know about gas prices today:

WHERE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE GAS IN THE STATE? San Rafael, Santa Rosa and San Francisco are all seeing average gas prices around $4.71 today, according to AAA. Sacramento’s average price of around $4.53 makes it the 11th most expensive in the state.
