This part of the Bay Area set a November temperature record

November 2023 was warmer and drier than normal across the Bay Area, as the storm track remained over the Pacific Northwest, only occasionally dipping down to Central California.

San Francisco International Airport recorded its warmest November since records began in 1945, with an average temperature of 60.4 degrees, 5 degrees above normal. The downtown San Francisco weather station was only 1.1 degrees above normal, comparatively.
