Sonoma County and the City of Santa Rosa are holding a virtual town hall meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday for fire survivors and property owners in the wake of the Glass, Meyers and Walbridge fires.
The session will provide information about the Consolidated Debris Removal Program operated by the California Office of Emergency Services, which is set on Tuesday to begin clearing debris from fire-damaged parcels.
Topics will include who is eligible for the state program and how it works, including the possibility of hazardous tree removal; post-fire watershed protection; and the right of entry application process.
Participants can also have questions answered by representatives of federal, state and local government agencies as well as nonprofit partners.
